Old Ryobi charger works for lithium batteries? I recently got a old set of Ryobi tools and and old classic black Ryobi charger along with some 18v NiCa batteries. I'm looking to upgrade to Lithium-Ion batteries but I don't look forward to havening to get a new charger, would I have to or would the old one work?
You need the Li-Ion charger. It knows how to safely charge Li based packs.
